You can save money by simply enrolling in your favorite stores newsletter. Now a days almost every store is online and by signing up they send their current promotions and coupons to your e-mail.  If you have a Facebook account you can also "like" their page. Some restaurants also have the option to subscribe to their newsletter. The following are some of my favorites....

Family Dollar $5 off $25 Purchase Coupon

I'm personally not a shopper at Family Dollar but I decided to sign up to their newsletter.  I received my first e-mail and it included a coupon for $5 off any purchase of $25 or more. You can print the coupon here, you can also hit the back button and print a second coupon. I was surprised when I went into their site and saw all the different items they have available.  They have a 2011 Spring Apparel Book with $25 of coupons inside.  I took a look online of the book and it has very cute clothing for the entire family.  You can take a look at the book and coupons here. I have twins and they have some coupons for Buy 1 clothing item and get 1 50% off, they also have $1 any shoes. These are great deals considering that my twins grow out of their clothes in a snap. Since there is a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase in addition to other apparel coupons I wanted to know if we could combine these coupons to get a even better deal so I went digging to read their coupon policy, you can read the policy here. To my surprise I learned that you can stack coupons at Family Dollar.  You can use a manufacturer coupon + a Family Dollar coupon on one item. I am still wondering if we can combine the $5 off coupon with the apparel coupons so I will be visiting a store tomorrow to find out.  They are building a store one block away from my house so I am so excited.

I Received My $20 Cada Cabeza Check

 

I just received my third $20 check from Cada Cabeza.  They are a Latino based survey company. You can redeem a $20 for every 1000 puntos you accumulate. You can make your first $20 check in a couple of minutes.  All you have to do is register here and confirm your registration via your email.  You can then log into your account.  Once you are logged in you can go under your account and answer several surveys already waiting for you.  They are very short and they are for 100 points each, you have 9 for a total of 900 points.  All you have left to do is recommend one of your family or friends to join the site and they will give you 100 points to get your 1000 for your very first check.  I receive about 1-2 surveys a week and they are mostly for 200 points, it is rare that I don't qualify and if you don't you still get 20 points. It is very easy to accumulate your points.  Although this is a Latino Spanish site, they still give you the option to take the surveys in English. so if you have a little extra time on your hands you can register to join their site here.

**HOT** Amazon Huggies Diapers $0.07

I was stoked when I saw my total was only $0.07 for a box of Huggies diapers on Amazon. I needed to stock up on diapers for my twins and after my $10 amazon code + 20% amazon code my total came up to only $0.07 cents.  I don't know if everyone will get this price but I guess it's my lucky day.  My wild twin, the one that never sleeps during the day, got her pillow pet and feel asleep on our sofa.  I still can't believe I got a pack of diapers for that price, I called my Mom to let her know LOL.

If you are not familiar with Amazon.  I first joined Amazon Mom club.  You can join here. Amazon Mom is a free membership program aim to help parents and caregivers.  You get 30% off diapers and wipes.  To be honest I don't know if it applies to other baby items.  Since I have twins my only interest are the diapers and wipes.  On the product page, to your right you have the option to buy the diapers at regular price or you can subscribe so you can get the 30% off. It also gives you an option to the number of months you would like to subscribe, I selected 6 months.  You can later go into you account and cancel your subscription. I got my 20% amazon baby code from the Parenting magazine at my twins doctors office and I got the $10 off amazon baby code from the Parents magazine I subscribe to.  You can go and purchase these magazines in many retailers, just make sure they have the amazon codes inside. My Lucky Day -- Entry for Earthies Giveaway

When I had my oldest daughter, 8 years ago, I was struggling to pay bills among my baby needs.  One hectic day I sat down to take a look at my budget, to see what other payments I had to make.  I noticed I had to give one the very next day for $200, the exact money that was in my pocket.  While I was trying to figure out how I would give the payment and still have money left over for gas and diapers I got a call from my best friend. She needed $180 for rent, although I knew I only had $200 with me,  I lent her the money because she had always helped me out when I needed something for my daughter.  On my way to give her the money I called the company and told them I would be giving the payment late.  In my opinion family is more important, the payment would always be there, but if my friend didn't pay for rent she would have not had a place to live. On my way back to the house, I stopped to get gas with my last $20 for the week.  While I was there the cashier asked if I wanted a lottery ticket and I quickly answered that I only had the $20 for gas.  She told me she would put $19 for gas and get the lottery ticket with the other dollar.  I agreed and went over to get the gas, while my tank was filling up I scratched my ticket and to my surprise I won $300.  I couldn't believe it, I had no idea how I was able to manage finishing pumping the gas.  I ran inside the store and thanked the cashier, she then told me I could cash the ticket there.  In the end, I was able to give the payment and had $100 left over for diapers, baby food, and clothes for my daughter.
